Our Team

Dr. Laura Novak serves as Maximum Rehabilitation’s Clinical Director in Evergreen Park.  She earned her Bachelor of Science as a student-athlete at the University of Michigan. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. She has practiced in the outpatient orthopedic setting since graduation.  Laura has guest lectured at local PT programs and has taken on teaching clinical skills to physical therapy students as a clinical instructor. Her treatment approach focuses on manual joint and soft tissue mobilization combined with functional exercise to return patients back to doing what they love to do.  Laura obtained a certification in the McKenzie (MDT) approach, which focuses on active patient involvement and education through a system of diagnosis and treatment for spinal and extremity musculoskeletal disorders.

In her spare time, Laura is an avid runner and loves spending time playing with her four small children who are beginning to show a passion for sports.
